Other Committee Chairs and Group Leaders

Linda Teuber-Kampes - Events Committee Chair
Linda and her husband Ed moved to Kent Island 5 years ago to live in a place where they felt like they were always on vacation. Linda retired a year later and has since been enjoying retirement. She joined Queen Anne’s At Home to meet people in the area and get involved in activities – which led to becoming the Events Committee Chair. She is always looking for help and ideas – whether for one event or multiples. She also oversees QA@H's Interest Groups, so if you have an idea for one – this is the person to talk to!

Margan Glover - IT Team Leader, QA@H Founding President
Margan has lived on the Eastern Shore for almost 30 years. After her beloved mother and mother-in-law made the move to assisted living some years ago, she realized that a new model of helping seniors thrive was essential. After discovering the Village Movement, she never looked back and was instrumental in starting QA@H. "It would be lovely to say that what spurred the creation of Q@H was pure altruism, but I learned that we all need help sometimes - and we all need the chance to offer help - and our own Village is the best way I can think of to make that happen here."

Kay Alston - Mah Jongg, Pickleball, TechTips Interest Groups Leader
Kay started playing Mah Jongg just over a year ago. To get up to speed - to be able to play with her friends who had been playing together for nearly 3 years - she played online at Myjongg.net everyday for several weeks.  Since then, she plays only occasionally online and once a week with her new group of friends. She has recently taught 2 different groups how to play! She also says the pickleball is the perfect game for all ages and abilities. She loves teaching people how to play and has a few paddles to share so please get in touch!

Jennifer Illari - Walking and Outdoor Group Leader
Jennifer has lived in Queen Anne's County for 22 years. She loves to travel, the outdoors and to serve the  community. She leads the Walking and Outdoor interest group, using the many trails throughout QAC to explore the County and enjoy our local nature.
