CarFit is an interactive program offering older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles "fit" them and offer adjustments to ensure their safest ride.
The CarFit program also provides information and materials on community-specific resources that can enhance their safety as drivers, and/or increase their mobility in the community.

At a CarFit event, a team of trained technicians and/or health professionals works with each participant to review our checklist and ensure they "fit" their vehicle properly for maximum comfort and safety. A CarFit check takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. It’s important to note that this is NOT a driving test.

Queen Anne’s At Home has coordinated with The Motor Vehicle Administration’s Highway Safety Office to have a CarFit event for us on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 at the Elks on Kent Island (2525 Romancoke Road).  Appointments are required in advance.
