Join us for Sym-Sim - Dementia Sympathy Simulation presented by Arcadia-Living.
From Arcadia-Living:
“SYM SIM” is an abbreviation for “Sympathy Simulation”.
It is an immersive sensory experience to help us better understand
and have more compassion for our elderly patients, residents, and
neighbors.
Although other versions of this concept exist, SYM SIM was
developed by Arcadia Living founder and CEO Donna Poole
initially as training for her caregiving staff. It caught the attention of
Arcadia’s families and members of the community so Donna made
it available for healthcare and community groups to be able to
participate.
