Margan Glover - President, IT Chair
Margan has lived in Queen Anne's County for 23 years. She's passionate about QA@H's mission to help keep QAC seniors as fully engaged in our community as possible. "The possibilities we're inventing and creating for seniors to thrive here are so exciting!" Margan and her husband Phil Stapleton previously owned a management consulting and training firm specializing in environmental and employee health & safety issues.
Russ Mail - Vice President, Events Committee Chair
Russ has lived in the region for nearly 40 years, retiring in 1999 from a lengthy career in the world of defense contracting. Russ was an interested observer of the Village movement for many years, becoming impressed by the amount of good that can come from a group of dedicated volunteers with the determination to help others in their community. He is delighted to be able to serve QA@H both as a Board officer and member. In addition, travel and boating are 2 of his passions, and he also volunteers with Rock Steady Boxing, a Parkinson Disease therapy program.
Jinny Guy - Secretary, Membership Committee Chair
Jinny (aka Virginia) Guy is a retired singer, director and administrator in Sweet Adelines Int'l. That being the avocation, her "real" job was managing her husband's dental practice. Jinny believes in the mission of Queen Anne's at Home and is delighted to be part of this much needed resource for seniors.
Charlie Brooks - Treasurer
Charlie has lived in Queen Anne's County with his wife Peggy for 22 years. An Engineering Director for Bell Atlantic before retirement, Charlie has since served on several local Boards. Excited about QA@H's mission, Charlie says, "I now look forward to being able to contribute to the community through this organization."
Peggy Schaefer - Ambassador Committee Chair
Peggy's background includes working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, a Senior Move Manager, and most recently in the Intake Department at Compass Regional Hospice. She enjoys working with the senior community and is excited to be part of QAH's Board and helping the organization expand in the community. "Seniors helping seniors in their community is such a powerful concept, and I'm happy to be part of making this happen in Queen Anne's County."
Linda Schuerholz - SNAP Committee Chair
Linda is a retired psychologist who moved from Baltimore to Queen Anne's County 19 years ago with never a regret! She spends time with her husband and family, and takes advantage of all that life on the Eastern Shore has to offer while enjoying her pastime with photography. QAH's mission of helping seniors remain happy and healthy in their own homes is of paramount interest to Linda as she works to promote this concept in the community.
Cindy has lived in Queen Anne’s County for 20 years with her husband Ken, where they have raised their family enjoying the beauty and community of the Eastern Shore. Cindy is currently working for VNA (Visiting Nurses Association) of Maryland as an Account Executive, committed to expanding quality home health services for older adults living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Cindy is a licensed Occupational Therapist that has been serving Seniors for over 35 years as a clinician and administrator. Cindy is committed to serving seniors and their caregivers, helping them safely age in place through her practice and participation in community activities. She is looking forward to this opportunity to further help her neighbors remain active and safe in Queen Anne’s County.
